Mandatory use of Marathi for all quasi-judicial proceedings in Revenue Department: Minister Bawankule

Nashik, May 15 (UNI) To expedite the disposal of quasi-judicial cases filed with revenue officers and authorities across the state, Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule—acting on the directives of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis—has formulated a new ‘Standard Operating Procedure’ (SOP) and brought it into effect starting today.
A government order regarding this matter was issued today; henceforth, the use of the Marathi language for all quasi-judicial proceedings within the Revenue Department, as well as for the drafting of final orders, has been made mandatory.
A specific procedure has been established for handling quasi-judicial cases filed with the government, revenue officers, and authorities; the path forward for such matters has been clearly delineated within a comprehensive 29-page government order.
