Mandya Violence: Stone-pelting mars Ganesh Visarjan, several injured

Mandya, Sept 7 (UNI) Karnataka’s Mandya district witnessed fresh communal clashes today during Ganesh Visarjan celebrations, leaving several people injured after violent stone-pelting erupted in the Ram Rahim locality.
Police imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 to bring the situation under control.
According to reports, miscreants targeted the Ganesh immersion procession with stones, triggering tension and sporadic violence. Additional police forces were immediately deployed in the area to prevent escalation.
