Manipur receives mortal remains of a victim of plane crash

Imphal, June 20 (UNI) The mortal remains of one of the two crew members of the Ahmedabad Air India plane crash reached her home town at Kangpokpi as the state awaits the arrival of another victim.
Lamnunthem Singson’s body reached Nagaland on Thursday and was later brought to Manipur by road. The funeral services were held at Kangpokpi. The body of another victim Kongbrailatpam Nganthoi Sharma of Thoubal district is yet to reach the state.
Manipur chief secretary PK Singh said Kongbrailatpam Nganthoi Sharma, 22 and Lamnunthem Singson, 28, were dedicated workers and were source of inspiration, courage and grace.
