Maria to face Anisimova in Queen's final

London, June 15 (UNI) Tatjana Maria said her Queen's run has been a "dream come true" after she came through qualifying to reach the final, where she will meet Amanda Anisimova.
The 37-year-old German became the oldest woman to reach a WTA 500 final with a stunning 6-3 7-6 (7-3) victory over Australian Open winner Madison Keys in the last four.
The mother-of-two arrived at Queen's on a nine-match losing streak but has beaten three top-20 players on her way to Sunday's showpiece.

Paris, July 12 (UNI) Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates-XRG) swooped back into the yellow jersey with a second stage win in this year’s Tour de France after beating arch-rival Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease a Bike) on the iconic finish climb at Mur-de-Bretagne in Stage 7
Pogacar had more punch than any of his opponents in a tense seven-up sprint as Britain’s Oscar Onley (Picnic PostNL) impressed with a solid third place ahead of Austria’s Felix Gall (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale) and American Matteo Jorgenson (Visma).

New Delhi, Jul 12 (UNI) National Games champion Neeru Dhanda, reached a first ever world cup final to finish a creditable fourth in women’s trap, on the penultimate day of the fourth and final International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup Shotgun stage, currently underway in Lonato, Italy. She shot 30 out of her first 35 targets in the 50-shots final.
