Marsh 111 sets up LSG's 209-run surge against RCB

Lucknow, May 7 (UNI) Mitchell Marsh produced a brutal batting exhibition to anchor Lucknow Super Giants' innings as they posted a commanding 209 for 3 in a rain-affected 19-over contest against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 50th match of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium here on Wednesday.
The match, interrupted by brief rain breaks that reduced the game to 19 overs per side, eventually turned into a high-scoring spectacle as Marsh led the charge with a devastating 111 off 56 balls, striking nine fours and nine sixes.
Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Royal Challengers Bengaluru struck early but were quickly put under pressure as Marsh shifted gears from the outset. He brought up his half-century in just 20 balls before racing to a commanding century that defined the innings.
