RCB coach Andy Flower fined 15 pc match fee for breaching IPL code of conduct

Mumbai, May 11 (UNI) Royal Challengers Bengaluru Head Coach Andy Flower has been fined 15 per cent of his applicable match fee for breaching Level 1 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct for Players and Team officials.
Andy was found to have breached article 2.3 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct, which relates to “use of an audible obscenity during a match.”
The incident occurred in 17.2 over when Andy spoke aggressively with the fourth umpire.
Andy admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction imposed by Match Referee, Amit Sharma.

India retain top position in Men's ODI team rankings after annual update

Dubai, May 11 (UNI) India have maintained their position at the top of the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings following the annual update carried out on Monday, but their lead over New Zealand has reduced from eight to five points.
India have slipped from 119 to 118 points even as New Zealand have gained two points to move up to 113, with reigning World Cup champions Australia third with an unchanged 109 points.
The only change in the top 10 positions is that South Africa (102) have overtaken Pakistan (98) to fourth position.
