MI-PBKS match shifted to Ahmedabad: BCCI

Ahmedabad, May 8 (UNI) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced the relocation of TATA IPL Match No. 61 between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians from Dharamshala to Ahmedabad.
The fixture, originally slated to be held at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala on Sunday will now be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The BCCI, in an official media advisory, cited logistical challenges as the reason behind the venue change.
"The match will begin at 3:30 PM IST as per the original schedule," BCCI Honorary Secretary Devajit Saikia stated in the release.
Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians are both in the race for playoff qualification, and the fixture could prove decisive as the league phase enters its final stretch.
