Milan-Cortina 2026 organizers unveil closing ceremony concept ‘Beauty in Action’

Rome, Nov 7 (UNI) The organizers of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games have unveiled the concept for their closing ceremony — “Beauty in Action” — along with the announcement of the first participating artist.
The closing ceremony is scheduled for February 22, 2026, and will take place at the Arena di Verona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ancient Roman amphitheater will be transformed into a “boundless stage,” blending the grandeur of history with the dynamism of modern creativity.
According to the organizers, the theme "Beauty in Action" pays tribute to the beauty of motion, celebrating the connection between sport, art, and human relationships, and reflecting the harmony between nature and the city, mountains and plains.
