Mirah Hospitality launches new Rajdhani outlet

Hyderabad, Dec 12 (UNI) Mirah Hospitality, the Indian hospitality group known for its iconic Rajdhani brand, on Friday opened its newest and one of its largest South India outlets at the Lake Shore Y-Junction Mall in Kukatpally.
Speaking to the media, Mirah Hospitality CEO Aji Nair said the company had been waiting for the mall's launch to re-enter the Hyderabad market in a bigger way. He said the new outlet, with a seating capacity of about 130, is among the largest Rajdhani restaurants in the region.
Rajdhani, which serves unlimited vegetarian thalis featuring Gujarati and Rajasthani cuisine, is celebrating its 40-year legacy this year. Nair said the brand began in 1985 and currently operates 25 outlets across India, with plans to expand to 35 by the end of the current financial year.
For the Hyderabad relaunch, the company has introduced its "Golden Thali" concept, replacing traditional steel thalis with specially crafted versions from Moradabad, aimed at enhancing the dining experience.
Nair said Mirah Hospitality earlier operated two successful outlets in Hyderabad but had to shut them due to lease-related issues. With the new launch, the brand is planning further expansion in the city, including potential outlets in Banjara Hills and the Hitec City area. Additional food court counters are also being considered.
He added that the menu at Rajdhani changes daily, ensuring diners always have a fresh experience. The Rajdhani thali, he noted, is among the most decorated in the country, having won over 150 awards from various organisations and media houses.
"We are glad to return to Hyderabad with one of our largest South Indian outlets. The response to Rajdhani here has always been encouraging, and we look forward to expanding further," Nair said.
