Mizoram RTI Online Portal receives over 6,500 queries since launch

Aizawl, Oct 5 (UNI) Since its inception, the online portal for the Right to Information (RTI) Act, developed for the Mizoram Information Commission, has received a total of 6,572 queries, with 96 questions submitted in just the past four months, state officials reported today.
Launched in July 2022, the Mizoram RTI online portal has become an important tool for citizens to seek information from government departments and public authorities.
According to officials, the portal has significantly increased public engagement with the state's administration, allowing for greater transparency and accountability.
