Modi, Shah, Rahul pay tribute to Sardar Patel on his 75th death anniversary

NEW DELHI, DEC 15 (UNI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, union Home Minister Amit Shah, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and other political leaders on Monday paid tribute to Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhai Patel on his 75th death anniversary.
"The sense of national unity that he instilled in the countrymen is a source of energy for ‘Viksit Bharat’. His unparalleled role in nation-building will continue to serve as a pathfinder for a strong and capable India," Modi said in a post on X.
He remembered Patel as the "Iron Man" who dedicated his life to weaving the country into a single thread, saying, "The grateful nation can never forget his unparalleled contribution to the creation of an undivided and strong Bharatvarsha."
