NCC gets independent Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh directorates, expanding youth outreach

New Delhi/Ranchi, June 15 (UNI) The National Cadet Corps (NCC) on Monday approved the establishment of independent state directorates in Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh, in a move aimed at expanding youth participation, strengthening training infrastructure and improving administrative support for cadets across the states.
The decision was announced by the NCC Directorate General Headquarters. The number of NCC state directorates in the country will increase from 17 to 19.
According to an official release, the new directorates will enable closer engagement with NCC cadets and educational institutions, while ensuring more focused coordination, improved supervision and enhanced support for training and developmental activities.

Orissa HC flags ecological impact of filling village tank for commercial use
