NCW seeks report from Kerala Police on absconding 75-yr-old rape accused

New Delhi, Oct 30 (UNI) The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Wednesday sought a report from Kerala’s Director General of Police regarding the reported incident in which a 75-year-old man accused of raping a tribal house help remains absconding.
It requested the authorities to submit a detailed action-taken report within three days, underscoring the need for swift and decisive action to secure justice and uphold women’s safety.
The commission also asked Kerala’s Director General of Police to ensure a fair and time-bound investigation.
