Nemetschek group launches GCC in Hyderabad to boost construction tech

Hyderabad, Sep 9 (UNI) Nemetschek Group, a global leader in digital solutions for the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AEC/O) industry, today inaugurated its new Global Capability Center (GCC) here , further strengthening its presence in India.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Louise Öfverström, Chief Financial Officer of Nemetschek Group, said India is playing a key role in the company’s global growth.
“India is already the third-largest construction market in the world and is fast emerging as one of the biggest economies. Our expanded capability center here in Hyderabad, along with our offices in Bangalore and Mumbai, will play a critical role in product development, information security and global operations,” she said.
Sunil Pandita, Chief Division Officer of Nemetschek Group, underlined India’s strategic importance, both in terms of talent and market.
“We aim to expand our operations four to five times in India. Our software powers some of the world’s most iconic projects, including airports, hospitals, stadiums and even global concert venues. With India’s rapid infrastructure growth, we are committed to creating solutions specifically for the Indian market while also developing talent through partnerships with leading institutions,” he said.
Vishal Mani, Managing Director of Nemetschek India, noted that the company has witnessed phenomenal growth over the past two years.
“We have expanded with new offices in Mumbai and Bangalore, and now with this facility in Hyderabad, we are well-positioned to leverage India’s talent pool for global innovation. Currently, India accounts for less than 4 per cent of our global workforce, but we expect to scale this to at least 10 per cent in the next few years,” he said.
The executives highlighted Nemetschek’s focus on digital construction technologies, including Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital twins, AI-based solutions and sustainable design practices.
The company is also collaborating with leading universities and institutions to train civil engineers, architects and construction professionals, ensuring India’s workforce is ready to meet future infrastructure demands.
The new Hyderabad facility will serve as a hub for software development, R&D, security operations and AI-driven innovations, catering to Nemetschek’s global brands and clients.
