Kathmandu, July 12 (UNI) Heavy rains caused terrible landslips in several sites across Nepal, as 11 people died and two buses were swept into Trishuli river leaving over 60 missing, officials said on Friday.
The disasters devastated multiple regions of the Himalayan nation, resulting in severe loss and trauma, The Kathmandu Post reported.
There were 41 people on the bus from Kathmandu to Gaur and 24 people on the bus from Birgunj to Kathmandu on Friday. Both buses and people have gone missing in the Trishuli River, according to police spokesman Dan Bahadur Karki.
