New express train between Mumbai and Bengaluru flagged off

Mumbai, May 17 (UNI) In a major step in strengthening connectivity between Maharashtra and Karnataka, union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw, on Sunday virtually flagged off a new express train between Mumbai Bengaluru.
According to railways, the Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak (LTT) -Sir M Visvesvaraya Bengaluru (SMVB) Terminus express train is also expected to improve regional connectivity and contribute to the economic growth of both states.
Train No 16554 between LTT and SMVB will run every Sunday and Wednesday, departing at 11.15 pm and arriving at Bengaluru 10.30 pm the next day.
