New Himachal Congress chief likely from Shimla, decision expected soon

Shimla, Oct 7 (UNI) After Pratibha Singh, another leader from Himachal Pradesh’s Shimla district is likely to take over as the new Congress chief.
The indication came following Chief Minister SS Sukhu’s return from Delhi, where he reportedly held detailed discussions with the senior party leaders on the matter.
The sitting HP Congress President Pratibha Singh is the wife of former HP Chief Minister Late Vir Bhadra Singh. The high command had suddenly summoned him to Delhi on Sunday evening. The decision on the president's post will be made considering regional and caste balance.
