TVS InvIT inaugurates Rs 250 cr industrial park

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Nov 14 ((UNI): TVS Infrastructure Trust inaugurated the expanded phase of its flagship Tarkeshwar Industrial & Logistics Park here.
The facility was inaugurated virtually by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at an event set up by the district administration at APIIC Industrial Park in Peda Gantyada, the company said in a release here today.
Spread over 17 acres at Gurrampalem with an investment of around ₹250 crore, the facility is expected to generate over 1,000 jobs.
Strategically located, the built-to-suit industrial facility lies along the Anakapalle Anandapuram Expressway (NH-16) and offers direct access to Visakhapatnam Port ensuring smooth multimodal access for regional connectivity.
It is designed to cater to the increasing demand for Grade A logistics parks in the region. The land for this project was allocated by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. (APIIC), which facilitated land acquisition and fast-tracked approvals. The project is managed by TVS Industrial and Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), India’s pioneering developer of Grade A warehousing and industrial infrastructure.
During the virtual launch, the Chief Minister highlighted the state’s vision of ‘One Family, One Entrepreneur’, which aims to create ‘one entrepreneur’ from every family.
Dr. Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP, said, “The facility at Vizag is designed to meet the evolving needs of modern occupiers—offering scalable, sustainable, and compliant infrastructure that supports sectors such as automotive, FMCG, manufacturing and e commerce. It is well-positioned to attract both domestic and global companies seeking high quality space in the region.”
The inauguration ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including Dr. Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy , Minister for Social Welfare; T.G. Bharath, Minister for Industries & Commerce; Kondapalli Srinivas, Minister for MSME ; Mathukumilli Sribharat,Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Visakhapatnam; and Manthena Rama Raju,Chairman, APIIC.

Lupin gets US FDA approval for multiple sclerosis tablet

Chennai, Dec 5 (UNI) Pharmaceutical major Lupin Ltd on Friday announced that it has received tentative approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for its Abbreviated New Drug Application for Siponimod Tablets, 0.25 mg, 1 mg, and 2 mg.
This product would be manufactured at Lupin’s Pithampur facility in India.
