Governor Jishnu Dev Varma to present FTCCI Excellence Awards 2025 in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, July 7 (UNI) The Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma, will present the prestigious FTCCI Excellence Awards 2025 tomorrow at a private hostel, Banjara Hills, here.

Organised by the 108-year-old Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), the awards recognise outstanding achievements across various sectors of industry, commerce, innovation, and social entrepreneurship.
Since their inception in 1974, the FTCCI Excellence Awards have become one of the most respected recognitions in the state, aimed at encouraging excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth.

FTCCI President Dr Suresh Kumar Singhal said the awards reflect the chamber’s long-standing tradition of honouring businesses and individuals who significantly contribute to the state's
economic and social development.
He emphasised that these awards are given to organisations known for quality production, innovation, sustainable practices, and their role in strengthening the state’s GDP.

Ramakanth Inani, Chair of the FTCCI Excellence Awards Committee and Past President of the chamber, detailed the range of categories, which include excellence in industrial performance, agriculture-based industries, exports, CSR, aerospace and defence, pharmaceuticals, ESG,
tourism and hospitality, marketing and product innovation, healthcare, research and development, digital tourism, and start-ups. Individual awards will also be presented for achievements in science and engineering, women entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and self-sustaining efforts by differently abled individuals.

FTCCI Senior Vice President R. Ravi Kumar noted that the awards are highly credible and serve as
a morale booster for businesses, while encouraging a culture of quality and innovation. Committee member Srinivas Garimella, who also chairs the Industrial Development Committee, said that the application and evaluation process was completely digitised and open to all businesses based in Telangana.

Entries were evaluated by a distinguished jury panel comprising Justice Challa Kodanda Ram, retired IAS officers M. Gopal Krishna, Ajay Mishra, and B P Acharya, along with Prof Uday B. Desai, Founding Director of IIT Hyderabad, a FTCCI statement said on Monday.
