University of London, Telangana govt to strengthen Academic & Research Collaboration

Hyderabad, Dec 8 (UNI) The University of London and the Telangana government on Monday signed a formal statement of collaboration at the Telangana Rising Summit, marking a major milestone in international academic partnerships.
The signing was led on behalf of the University of London by Ms. Kavita Reddy, representing the institution in its efforts to expand international academic linkages, collaborative research programmes, and student mobility opportunities.
Both sides expressed their commitment to advancing joint academic initiatives that align with Telangana’s long-term education and talent development vision.
Through this collaboration, the University of London and the Government of Telangana aim to deepen engagement in areas such as global higher education pathways, faculty development, innovation-led research, digital learning frameworks and capacity-building for emerging sectors.
The partnership supports Telangana’s broader objective of becoming a global knowledge hub under the Telangana Rising 2047 agenda.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said: “ Our partnership with the University of London reflects our commitment to world-class education, research excellence and international collaboration. We look forward to working closely with the University to create meaningful avenues for students, researchers and institutions across the State.”
The University of London commended Telangana’s progressive vision for education and its focus on research, innovation and internationalisation. This partnership is expected to catalyse academic excellence and expand global learning access for students across Telangana.
