Four killed, two injured as Hyva hits pickup on Gumla–Ranchi road

Ranchi, Jan 15 (UNI) In a tragic road accident on the Gumla–Ranchi main road in Jharkhand, four people were killed and two others seriously injured after a speeding Hyva rammed into a pickup van early Thursday morning.
The accident occurred at around 4:30 am near Bhadgaon in Gumla district. Confirming the incident, Gumla SDPO Suresh Prasad Yadav said that a high-speed Hyva hit the pickup van from behind, causing extensive damage.
According to local sources, the pickup van was carrying tilkut (sesame sweets) loaded by traders from Ranchi and was heading towards Gumla. As the vehicle reached Bhadgaon, the out-of-control Hyva crashed into it with great force.
