Assam Rifles organise national tour of women of Manipur

Imphal, Mar 22 (UNI) A National Integration Tour was organised for 34 Women from Manipur from Mar 13 to 22.
As the team reached Manipur on Saturday they were welcomed in a Flagging-In Ceremony at Haflong Hall, Mantripukhri, Imphal where Maj Gen Ravroop Singh, Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) and Navjeet Kaur, Regional President, ARWWA, welcomed them.
The initiative provided a transformative experience, offering exposure to India’s rich heritage, development, and the vital role of women in nation-building, Assam Rifles official said.
