Group loan pressure claims lives of mother & daughter in Giridih

Giridih, Jan 19 (UNI) In a tragic incident allegedly linked to pressure from a group loan, a woman and her teenage daughter died by suicide in Gadi Shrirampur village under the Mufassil police station area here on Monday morning.
Police said the deceased were identified as Putul Devi (38), wife of JLKLM worker Sonu Rawani, and her 16-year-old daughter Sneha Kumari. Their bodies were found hanging inside a room of their house, triggering panic and shock in the locality.
Upon receiving information, Sadar SDPO Jitavahan Oraon along with Mahatodih police personnel reached the spot. The bodies were taken down in the presence of police officials and sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination.
