Militant nabbed, arms recovered in Manipur

Imphal, Mar 15 (UNI Manipur Police arrested a person, allegedly a cadre of PLA, from Kakching District in an operation during the last 24 hours.
Manipur Police said on Saturday that the man was involved in threatening school official and in extortion activities.
In another operation at Churachandpur district, police recovered .303 Rifle with magazine, Single Barrel gun, .22 Rifle, Pumpi, live rounds of various arms and other materials.
Police said security was provided in the national highway and 122 vehicles plied on NH 37 and 637 plied on NH-2.
All the vehicles were carrying essential items. Oil depots which were closed down due to total shut down by Kuki organizations started opening on Saturday.
