Parnaik calls for Arunachal-Gujarat partnership at Bharat Parv 2025

Itanagar, Nov 13 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik participated in Bharat Parv 2025 at the iconic Statue of Unity, Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, on Wednesday.
This year’s Bharat Parv holds special significance as the fortnight-long celebration, which commenced on November 1, commemorates the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, whose vision of unity laid the foundation for an integrated India.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor highlighted the deep cultural connections between Arunachal Pradesh and Gujarat, rooted in shared mythology — particularly the story of Lord Krishna and Rukmini.

Gumla coldest as temperature drops below 10°C in ten districts

Ranchi, Dec 07 (UNI) Jharkhand continues to reel under an intense cold wave as icy winds from North India push temperatures significantly below normal across several districts. While the sky remained clear throughout the day and no rainfall was recorded anywhere in the state, the minimum temperature has been steadily falling during the night and early morning hours, causing severe chills among residents. According to the Meteorological Department, ten districts have recorded minimum temperatures below 10°C.
