Youth Parliament organised at Manipur University

Imphal, Mat 22 (UNI) Viksit Bharat District-Level Youth Parliamentary Festival 2025 was organised on Saturday by Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament for Imphal West Nodal Kendra at the Manipur University.
Prof. N. Lokendra Singh, VC of MU, spoke about the transformative role of youth in nation-building. He highlighted the importance of the National Youth Parliament Festival (NYPF) since its inception in 2019, noting the growth of the event from its first edition with 700 delegates to its present iteration, which includes youth representatives from all 763 districts across India.
He said that the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament is not merely a platform for presenting ideas but for creating tangible solutions. The event's culmination will be the drafting of a final resolution that synthesizes the best ideas and proposals from youth delegates. This resolution will be presented to the national media to influence public and policy discourse, ensuring that youth-driven policy recommendations gain national attention.
