Meghalaya showcases entrepreneurial spirit and rich cultural heritage at IITF 2025

New Delhi, Nov 16 (UNI) Meghalaya is showcasing its rich cultural heritage and diverse range of products at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025.
The 14-day event, hosted by the International Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), is being held from November 14-27, 2025, at Pragati Maidan, Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The Meghalaya Pavillion at IITF, inaugurated by Assembly Speaker Thomas Sangma on Sunday, presents a robust delegation of 42 entrepreneurs - 24 from PRIME start-up ecosystem and 18 from the Directorate of Food Processing - participating in the fair.

Gumla coldest as temperature drops below 10°C in ten districts

Ranchi, Dec 07 (UNI) Jharkhand continues to reel under an intense cold wave as icy winds from North India push temperatures significantly below normal across several districts. While the sky remained clear throughout the day and no rainfall was recorded anywhere in the state, the minimum temperature has been steadily falling during the night and early morning hours, causing severe chills among residents. According to the Meteorological Department, ten districts have recorded minimum temperatures below 10°C.

Thirty-four marine fishers nabbed from Odisha’s Gahirmatha turtle habitat
