Another Meghalaya student dies of food poisoning in Karnataka’s Malavalli

Shillong, Mar 18 (UNI) The death toll of Meghalaya students in the food poisoning in a Karnataka school rose to two with one more student succumbing at a private hospital in Mysuru.
The 12-year-old victim, reportedly from Nongstoiñ, the district headquarters of Meghalaya West Khasi Hills, died at Apollo Hospital, Mysuru on Monday night.
The incident occurred at Gokul Educational Institution’s residential school in T. Kagepura Village, Mandya district, Karnataka. The first victim, Khrehlang Khongtani, a Class VII student, died on Sunday.

Jharkhand: Temperature fluctuations to persist in the state for a few days

Ranchi, Dec 16 (UNI ) Jharkhand witnessed mild fluctuations in both maximum and minimum temperatures across several districts during the past 24 hours. While some areas experienced a slight increase in cold conditions, a marginal dip in daytime temperatures in other regions provided temporary relief to residents. Notably, no cold wave conditions have been reported anywhere in the state so far.
