Four militants nabbed in Manipur

Imphal, Mar 13 (UNI) Manipur Police and security personnel apprehended four militants, including a woman, in three separate operations during the last 24 hours.
Police said on Thursday that an active woman member of PREPAK (Pro) organization was nabbed from Langol Game Village Zone III , Imphal West District.
In another operation Manipur Police arrested two active members of KCP (City Meitei) from Lamsang Bazar, Imphal West District . Meanwhile, security forces arrested one active cadre of KCP (PWG) from Heirok Part-III, Uyokching near Krishnadas Farm House under Heirok-PS, Thoubal District.
Search operations and area domination were conducted by security forces in the fringe and vulnerable areas.
In an operation at Imphal West seven INSAS Rifle, two SLR, .303 Rifle, one Gas Gun, 9 mm Pistol, Grenade etc were recovered.
In another operation at Churachandpur eight Pompi, M4 Rifle ammunition, empty ammunition were recovered.
In Imphal East one 51mm Mortar, .32 Pistol , 12 Bore Single Barrel Gun, Grenade were recovered, At Kakching district SMG Carbine , Single Barrel Gun, .303 Rifle, Single Barrel Gun, Revolver, live round of HEDP MG-4 (40 mm), IED black in colour weighing about 1.5 kg were recovered. At Kangpokpi district two 5.56mm INSAS Rifle, .22mm Rifle with Magazine, Short-Range projectile Launchers, Mortar Bombs were recovered.

Kolkata, Dec 13 (UNI) West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress on Saturday described the Salt Lake Stadium chaos during Lionel Messi's mega show as deeply regrettable owing to mismanagement by the private organisers and also blamed BJP-backed elements carrying saffron flags for raising "provocative" slogans.
The party in a statement said the incident that unfolded in the stadium today was deeply regrettable and must never be allowed to happen again.
