Jharkhand: Police, industry discuss law and order, traffic and security

Seraikela-Kharsawan (Jharkhand), July 9 (UNI) Jharkhand Police and industry representatives met today to review law and order, traffic management, and security in the Adityapur Industrial Area under the Seraikela-Kharsawan district.
The meeting, chaired by the Superintendent of Police, focused on crime control, surveillance, and smooth vehicular movement. Installation of CCTV cameras at strategic locations was proposed, with both police and industrial units to jointly identify sites.
Traffic regulation during peak hours and improved coordination between business groups and police were also discussed. The SP issued directives for maintaining order, enhancing patrolling, and strengthening surveillance across the zone.

NSF, CNTC oppose Yoga Day observance in Nagaland schools on June 21

Dimapur, June 18 (UNI) The Naga Students Federation (NSF) and the Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) on Thursday opposed observance of International Yoga Day in schools across Nagaland on June 21, which falls on Sunday.
In a statement, the NSF voiced its strong opposition to the circular issued by the directorate of school education department, directing educational institutions across the state to observe the
12th International Day of Yoga on Sunday.

Odisha forms probe panel over errors in school textbooks
