Odisha recognised as top achiever at Udyog Samagam 2025: CM Majhi

Bhubaneswar, Nov 11 (UNI) Odisha has been honoured as a Top Achiever in three key business-centric reform areas — Business Entry, Labour Regulation Enablers, and Sector-Specific Healthcare — at the Udyog Samagam 2025 organised by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, government of India.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said the recognition reflects Odisha’s emergence as one of India’s most progressive and business-friendly states, driven by reform-oriented governance and investor-centric policies.
Taking to social media platform X, Majhi wrote: “We remain steadfast in our commitment to enhancing ease of doing business, promoting transparent governance, and fostering a dynamic environment for sustainable industrial growth and employment generation.”

Gumla coldest as temperature drops below 10°C in ten districts

Ranchi, Dec 07 (UNI) Jharkhand continues to reel under an intense cold wave as icy winds from North India push temperatures significantly below normal across several districts. While the sky remained clear throughout the day and no rainfall was recorded anywhere in the state, the minimum temperature has been steadily falling during the night and early morning hours, causing severe chills among residents. According to the Meteorological Department, ten districts have recorded minimum temperatures below 10°C.
