Pratul Shahdeo urges CM to share outcomes of Sweden, Spain visits ahead of Switzerland, England tour

Ranchi, Jan 13 (UNI) Jharkhand BJP state spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo on Tuesday extended greetings to Chief Minister Hemant Soren on his proposed tourism visits to Switzerland and England, while asking the government to first place on record the outcomes of the earlier visits to Sweden and Spain.
Shahdeo said that tourism and travel are personal choices and the Chief Minister, like any citizen, has every right to travel, even if the expenses are borne by taxpayers. He recalled that the Chief Minister had led a delegation to Sweden and Spain in April 2025, noting that Spain is globally recognised as a leading tourism destination. He remarked that it appeared coincidental that the Chief Minister’s foreign visits were largely to countries famed for tourism.
The BJP spokesperson alleged that after the earlier foreign tour, the state government had made announcements of investments worth thousands of crores, but claimed that no tangible investments have materialised so far. He demanded that the state government issue a white paper detailing the returns and benefits accrued from these costly foreign visits.
