IndiGo flight cancellation: East Coast Railway to run special trains and augment additional coaches for stranded passengers

Bhubaneshwar, Dec 7 (UNI) In view of increased demand and to clear extra rush of passengers following the IndiGo flight cancellation, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run special trains and augment additional coaches in some regular trains towards Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru and Howrah regions, said ECoR officials on Sunday.
The Special Trains announced by East Coast Railway are Train No. 08401 Bhubaneswar – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus special will departs from Bhubaneswar on 7b December, Train No. 08402 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Sambalpur special will departs from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 9 December, Train No. 08403 Puri – Anand Vihar Terminal special will departs from Puri on 8 December, Train No. 08404 Anand Vihar Terminal – Bhubaneswar special will departs from Anand Vihar Terminal on 9 December, Train No. 08501 Visakhapatnam – SMVB Bengaluru special will departs from Visakhapatnam on 8 December, Train No. 08502 SMVB Bengaluru – Visakhapatnam special will depart from SMVB Bengaluru on 9 December.
In addition to special trains, extra AC coaches have been added to the regular trains to clear extra rush of passengers:

of enumeration forms under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with election authorities expressing confidence that the exercise is progressing smoothly across the state.
Addressing journalists here on Monday, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Garima Gupta said Block Level Officers (BLOs) had distributed 8,50,451 enumeration forms to voters as of 4 pm, representing 97.19 per cent of the state's total electorate.
