Shanaya Kapoor wraps up filming for Shujaat Saudagar's 'JC'

Mumbai, May 14 (UNI) Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor has officially concluded shooting for her upcoming film 'JC', under the direction of Shujaat Saudagar.
To commemorate the culmination of filming, the team celebrated with a cake cutting ceremony, with the cake bearing the words "Wrap up for Diana"- hinting at the name of Shanaya's character in the film.
Director Shujaat took to social media to share this moment, giving fans a glimpse of the camaraderie and creativity that defines the project. He also penned an affectionate note for Shanaya that read, "Will miss you Dee, keep shining."
In this musical romantic drama, Shanaya Kapoor will star opposite 'Munjya' fame actor Abhay Verma.
Besides JC, she’ll be seen in 'Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan' (July 11), marking her Bollywood debut.
It will be followed by 'Tu Yaa Main' in February 2026. She’s also set to join the popular 'Student of the Year series', steadily carving her own space with a blend of experimental and commercial roles.
