Anupam Kher calls ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’ an epic sequel

New Delhi, Jan 19 (UNI) Actor Anupam Kher has completed a major shooting schedule for the much-anticipated sequel ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’, sharing his heartfelt gratitude toward the entire team behind the film.
Marking the milestone, Kher posted a video offering glimpses from the sets, featuring him once again as the much-loved character Khosla. The video also reunited fans with the iconic Khosla family, as co-stars Ranvir Shorey, Kiran Juneja and Parvinn Dabass appeared alongside him.
Actor Tara Sharma, who was part of the original film, has also returned for the sequel. Boman Irani, reprising his role as Khurana, was seen in the video as well.
Sharing his excitement, Kher wrote, “Schedule Wrap Of KKG2!! As I finish 90pc of my work for KhoslaKaGhosla2 my heart is full of gratitude! It has been an exhausting but an exhilarating experience! This is going to be an EPIC sequel to an OG CultClassic! This time the con is bigger than the biggest! A huge Thank you to each and every cast member (You ALL are Great), all the technicians, writers, director, producers and unit members for their love, warmth and support! Looking forward to meeting you again. Happy rest of the shooting!! Love always!”
Released in 2006 and directed by Dibakar Banerjee, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’ went on to become a cult classic for its witty storytelling and memorable performances.
The film humorously explored themes such as property scams and family disputes, starring Anupam Kher, Vinay Pathak, Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, Parvinn Dabass and Tara Sharma.
Before returning to the ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’ franchise, Anupam Kher directed his second film, Tanvi The Great, featuring debutant Shubhangi Dutt in the lead. The film has recently been included among the 201 feature films eligible for consideration at the 98th Academy Awards.
