Latin Grammys 2025: Bad Bunny takes home top honors

Los Angeles, Nov 14 (UNI) Puerto Rican singer and rapper Bad Bunny emerged as the biggest winner at the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards, claiming the coveted ‘Album of the Year’ for ‘Debi Tirar Mas Fotos’, marking his first triumph in a general category, according to Variety.
The artist, who was nominated in 12 categories at the 26th annual ceremony, also scored multiple wins for tracks from his acclaimed album.
His song 'DtMF' won both Best Urban/Urban Fusion Performance and Best Urban Song, while Voy A Llevarte Pa PR earned Best Reggaeton Performance. The album itself also took home the award for Best Urban Music Album.
"There are many ways to take pride in and defend our homeland, but we choose music," Bad Bunny said in his acceptance speech, giving a special shout-out to all the featured artists on his album, including Chuwi, with whom he performed Weltita during the ceremony, Variety reported.
Despite his sweeping wins, other top categories saw different victors: Karol G won Song of the Year for Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido, and Alejandro Sanz took Record of the Year for Palmeras En El Jardin.
Other notable winners included Cariel and Paco Amoroso, who dominated alternative and pop categories, winning Best Pop Song for El Dia Del Amigo, Best Alternative Music Album for Papota, Best Alternative Song for Tetas, Best Short Form Music Video for Tetas, and Best Long Form Music Video for Papota. Paloma Morphy was recognized as Best New Artist.
