DGCA to deploy 9 senior officials at IndiGo hqs

New Delhi, Dec 10 (UNI) In a clampdown on crisis-hit IndiGo, India’s aviation regulator DGCA on Wednesday announced that it would deploy nine senor officials at the airline’s headquarters in Haryana’s Gurugram for keeping a close vigil on the company’s operations.
The officials would keep a tab on the airline’s pilot roster, fleet, network planning and crew utilisation, as several IndiGo flights continued to be cancelled on Wednesday.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) also announced that it has summoned IndiGo’s Chief Executive Officer Pieter Elbers on Thursday for a meeting to seek an explanation for the large-scale flight disruptions which have plagued the country’s largest airline this month.
