MNS all-women team felicitated for underwater flag unfurling during AQUACENTUM 2025

New Delhi, Nov 12(UNI) In a celebration of courage and service, a felicitation ceremony was held on Wednesday at INHS Dhanvantri to honour the 10-member all-women scuba diving team of AQUACENTUM 2025.
The team, led by Lt Col Rashmi Sharma and Lt Col Dapple D Wankhar, was recognised for its exceptional achievement of unfurling the national flag underwater, symbolising the indomitable spirit of patriotism and the ethos of the Military Nursing Service (MNS). Surg Commodore Prashant Panda, CSO (Med), and Brig Kiron Jeet, Brig MNS (P&T), felicitated the team for their inspiring display of resilience and commitment.
The expedition, part of the Centenary celebrations of MNS, symbolizes the boundless courage and resilience of the Military Nursing fraternity, navigating uncharted depths. The team's remarkable achievement sends a powerful message: Aquacentum - A Century of Boundless Courage and Resilience, Navigating into the Depths. This milestone event highlights the indomitable spirit of women in uniform, from sea shore to sea floor.

IndiGo reports Rs 610 crore refunds, eyes Dec 10 for full stabilisation

New Delhi, 7 Dec (UNI) As IndiGo raced to meet the government’s 8 pm deadline to refund passengers affected by the country’s largest airline disruption, the Ministry of Civil Aviation on Sunday said the carrier had processed refunds worth Rs 610 crore so far. IndiGo also indicated that it now expects operations to stabilise by December 10, revising its earlier guidance of a December 10–15 recovery window.
