FIR filed against designated terrorist Pannun over threats to disrupt Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 23 (UNI) Delhi Police Special Cell on Friday registered an FIR against Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) designated terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun for allegedly threatening to create unrest in Delhi ahead of Republic Day.
The case has been registered under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which pertain to promoting enmity between groups, acts prejudicial to national integration, endangering India’s sovereignty and integrity, and criminal conspiracy, officials said.
Police said the action was initiated after Pannun allegedly released a video message on social media threatening to disrupt peace and law and order in Delhi ahead of the Republic Day celebrations on January 26.
