Indian Minister Khadse briefed about Nepal bus accident; PM Modi announces ex-gratia to families of victims

Kathmandu/New Delhi, Aug 24 (UNI) Nepalese Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak on Saturday briefed Indian Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Khadse, about the bus accident that occurred a day ago, resulting in the deaths of 27 Indian nationals.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF for the next of kin of each deceased, while the injured would be given Rs. 50,000.
During a meeting held at the Home Ministry on Saturday morning in Kathmandu, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak provided Indian Minister Raksha Khadse with information about the damage, rescue efforts, and treatment of the injured from the passenger bus accident that occurred on Friday in Tanahun's Aanbu Khaireni Municipality-4, MyRepublica reported.
