NSA Doval in Paris, discusses Rafale Marine, Scorpene subs, Ukraine

Paris/New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, who is in Paris, met his French counterpart Emmanuel Bonne for the annual bilateral Strategic Dialogue. He also held talks with French Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu during which they discussed bilateral defence cooperation, including the Rafale Marine, Scorpene submarines, as well as the Ukraine conflict.
The Indian Embassy in France in posts on X said:
“NSA Ajit Doval and French President’s Diplomatic Advisor Emmanuel Bonne led the Strategic Dialogue in Paris that anchors the India-France strategic partnership of great trust and comfort, and high ambitions and responsibilities in the Indo Pacific and beyond, and from cyber to space.”
On NSA’s meeting with the Armed Forces Minister, it posted:
“On his visit to France, India’s National Security Advisor, Shri Ajit Doval, engaged in extensive discussions with French Armed Forces Minister, Mr. Sébastien Lecornu. Their dialogue aimed at deepening bilateral defense cooperation and advancing space collaboration, while also sharing insights on the evolving international geopolitical landscape.”
The French Embassy in Delhi said the talks with the French Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu focused on talks ranged from bilateral defence cooperation - the Rafale Marine, Scorpene submarines, space - to the international situation, particularly in Ukraine.
“During NSA Ajit Doval’s France visit, French Minister for the Armed Forces @SebLecornu met him for discussions.
“Their talks ranged from bilateral defence cooperation - the Rafale Marine, Scorpene submarines, space - to the international situation, particularly in Ukraine.”
