PM Modi terms AAP aapda again, says Kejriwal-led party will be punishment to people

New Delhi, Jan 05 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday repeated his attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), terming the AAP an ‘aapda’ again, and said they wasted ten years of Delhi and
“any responsibility given” to the Arvind Kejriwal-led party will be “a punishment” to the people.
Addressing BJP's ‘Parivartan Yatra’ in Delhi's Rohini PM Modi said, "The AAP-Da government which has no vision for Delhi and which does not care about Delhi cannot develop Delhi. All the work to modernise Delhi is being done by the BJP government at the Centre."
Ridiculing AAP' s allegations centre government hindrance in the development projects, PM Modi said, "Those who brought AAP to power in Delhi falsely accuse that the Central Government does not allow them to work...the Central Government does not give them money...they are such big liars...their Sheesh Mahal is an example of this.
"Today itself, a major newspaper has disclosed the expenditure incurred on Sheesh Mahal on the basis of the CAG report," he added.
During the event, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple developmental projects in Delhi worth over 12,200 crore rupees.
He also inaugurated a 13-kilometer stretch of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar, worth around 4,600 crore rupees. The Prime Minister also undertook a ride on the Namo Bharat Train from Sahibabad RRTS Station to New Ashok Nagar RRTS Station and interacted with the school children.
In addition, PM Modi Modi inaugurated a 2.8-kilometer stretch between Janakpuri and Krishna Park of Delhi Metro Phase-IV, worth around 1,200 crore rupees. The areas of West Delhi, such as Krishna Park, parts of Vikaspuri, Janakpuri, and others, will benefit from this new route.
Besides, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of the 26.5 km Rithala-Kundli section of Delhi Metro Phase-IV, worth around 6,230 crore rupees. This corridor will connect Rithala in Delhi to Nathupur (Kundli) in Haryana.
He also laid the foundation stone for the new state-of-the-art building for the Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) at Rohini, New Delhi. The campus will provide state-of-the-art healthcare and medical infrastructure.
