PM Modi, Kuwait Amir review West Asia crisis, call for peace and stability

‎‎New Delhi, Jun 9 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held a telephonic conversation with the Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah, to discuss the evolving security situation in West Asia amid growing regional tensions.
‎According to an official statement, the two leaders exchanged views on recent developments in the region and emphasized the importance of restoring peace and stability through diplomatic means. During the conversation, Modi voiced India's concerns over the escalating situation and reaffirmed the country's firm support for Kuwait's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
‎"Prime Minister expressed deep concern over the escalation of tensions and reaffirmed India's strong condemnation of attacks on Kuwait's sovereignty and territorial integrity," the government release said.
