Scotland to replace Bangladesh in T20 World Cup: ICC

Dubai, Jan 24 (UNI) The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Saturday officially announced that Scotland will be included in Group C in place of Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup to be hosted by India and Sri Lanka from February 7 onwards.
International Cricket Council (ICC) Chief Executive Sanjog Gupta formally wrote a letter to the board saying that Bangladesh's demands regarding shifting their scheduled matches away from India are not in accordance with the board's policy.
"There was no other option but to call Scotland in this matter. A copy of this letter has also been sent to BCB President Aminul Islam, who is a member of the ICC Board" said the letter.
