New Delhi, Apr 10 (UNI) US President Donald Trump savagely attacked four prominent conservative media figures who criticised him on his Iran policy, describing them as 'nut jobs, losers with low IQs.'
In a blistering 482-word message on his social media platform Trump described them as 'trouble-makers who will say anything necessary for some free and cheap publicity.'
Trump said the journalists--Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones--have all been fighting him for years, thinking it is wonderful for Iran.
Describing Iran as the 'Number One State Sponsor of Terror,' he said they (the journalists) think it is wonderful for Iran to have a nuclear weapon.
'Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs. They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too.'
Trump said MAGA is about winning and strength in not allowing Iran to have nuclear weapons. MAGA is about making America great again.
'MAGA agrees with me, and just gave CNN a 100 per cent approval rating of TRUMP, not Hand Flailing Fools like Tucker Carlson, or Megyn Kelly, who nastily asked me the now famous, ‘Only Rosie O’Donnell,’ question, or 'Crazy' Candace Owens, who accuses the Highly Respected First Lady of France of being a man, when she is not. Or ‘Bankrupt’ Alex Jones, who says some of the dumbest things.'
'These so-called pundits are LOSERS, and they always will be,' Trump said.
Again savaging CNN, New York Times, and all of the other 'Radical Left' news organizations, he said they are “hailing” them and giving them “positive” press for the first time in their lives.
'They’re not MAGA, they’re losers, just trying to latch on to MAGA.'
Trump said that as President, he could get them on his side anytime he wanted to, but he doesn’t return their calls and, after a few times, they go “nasty.”
The latest outburst followed public criticism by the journalists of Trump administration's decision to launch military strikes on Iran.
Tucker Carlson is a former Fox News host and influential podcaster who described the Iran operation as "absolutely disgusting and evil". Trump responded by calling him a "broken man" who "should see a good psychiatrist".
Megyn Kelly is a conservative commentator and former Fox News anchor who recently suggested Trump's threats against Iranian civilisation were "cavalier about mass genociding civilians". Trump referenced their long-standing friction, describing her past questioning of him as "nasty".
Candace Owens is a conservative activist who called for Trump's removal via the 25th Amendment, describing him a "genocidal lunatic" over the Iran war. Trump insulted her appearance and intelligence in his post, and Owens retorted by suggesting "it may be time to put Grandpa up in a home".
Alex Jones is the founder of InfoWars and a longtime Trump supporter who also turned against him over the Iran conflict, going as far as to ask how to "25th Amendment [Trump's] ass". Trump dismissed him as a "troublemaker" who says "the dumbest things".
The rift marks a major split within the MAGA movement. While these figures were once seen as allies, their opposition to the administration's "America First" foreign policy—specifically about the Iran war and US relationship with Israel, led Trump to disavow them as "not MAGA" and "third-rate podcasters" just looking for publicity.
