J&K: 9 tourists injured in South Kashmir accident

Srinagar, Mar 20 (UNI) At least nine tourists were injured in an early morning road accident in Jammu Kashmir's Kulgam district on Thursday, officials said.

The accident occurred at around 6:30 AM when a tempo traveller coming from Jammu towards Srinagar, hit a divider near the Power Grid Station Nipora leading to injuries to nine passengers.

PAC exhorts nation to stand united as 'One people One nation' against terrorism

Srinagar, Apr 23 (UNI) Parliament's Public Accounts Committee (PAC), currently on a study visit to Srinagar, exhorted all Indians on Wednesday to stand united as 'One people One nation' against terrorism and violence. The Committee paid homage to the innocent tourists who lost their lives in the brutal terrorist attack at Pahalgam.
The Committee, headed by Congress leader and Member of Parliament K C Venugopal, wished a speedy and complete recovery of those injured in the terrorist attack.
