Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh ink major agreement on Tapi Mega Recharge Project

Bhopal, May 10 (UNI) A historic agreement was signed between the states of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh regarding the Tapi Mega Recharge Project on Saturday.
This agreement worth about Rs 19,244 crore will provide great benefits to the salt pan belt in Vidarbha and North Maharashtra, informed Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Bhopal on today.
A meeting of the Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh Inter-State Control Board regarding irrigation and hydropower projects was held in Bhopal today.
