UP secures ₹25,000 Crore Investment at Davos, Driving Clean Energy and Digital Growth

Davos/Lucknow, January 22( UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Government delegation signed major Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and held strategic meetings with global industry leaders on day four of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, officials said on Thursday.
The meetings and negotiations were aimed at accelerating the state’s growth across clean energy, digital infrastructure, and future-ready industrial development.
A major highlight of the day was the signing of a ₹25,000 crore MoU with Essar Group, marking one of the largest investment commitments secured by Uttar Pradesh during WEF Davos engagements.

At Academic Council, JU approves integrated UG-PG progs for offsite campuses under NEP-2020

Jammu, Feb 16 (UNI) The Academic Council of the University of Jammu approved introduction of Five-Year Integrated UG-PG Programmes under New Education Policy-2020. The decision was taken at the Council meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof Umesh Rai on Monday.
Prof Rai deliberated upon and endorsed a wide range of academic, statutory, and institutional matters aimed at strengthening academic innovation, expanding academic programmes, and aligning the University’s academic ecosystem with the transformative vision of the National Education Policy (NEP-2020).
