Prez Murmu, PM Modi, Yogi congratulate people on Uttar Pradesh Day

Lucknow, Jan 24 (UNI) President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have extended their best wishes to the people of the state on the 76th foundation day of Uttar Pradesh on Friday.
In her congratulatory message, the President wrote, "My best wishes to all the residents of UP. Uttar Pradesh has an important role in the economic and social development of the country. This state is also playing an important role in spiritual development. This state will move forward on the path of overall development."
Taking to X, PM Modi wrote, "My best wishes to all my brothers and sisters of the state on the foundation day of Uttar Pradesh. This holy land, which has witnessed countless mythological and historical periods in Indian culture, has been engaged in creating new chapters of development for the last eight years. I have full faith that with the government dedicated to public welfare and the amazing talent and tireless hard work of the people here, our beloved state will make its invaluable contribution in the creation of a developed India."
CM Yogi posted, "Hearty congratulations to the people of the state on the 76th Foundation Day of Uttar Pradesh, the holy birthplace of 'Raghukul Nandan' Lord Shri Ram and Yogeshwar Shri Krishna, blessed by the blessings of Baba Shri Vishwanath, the glorious land of creation, culture, values, and bravery. Under the guidance of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the 'growth engine' of New India, New Uttar Pradesh is setting new standards of development, security, and good governance. Come, let us all together resolve to make Uttar Pradesh a 'developed, self-reliant state.'
On the occasion of UP Day, cultural programmes have been organised at various places, including Awadh Shilpgram in the capital, Lucknow. In the three-day programme at Awadh Shilpgram, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will confer the Gaurav Samman on six people.
They will be felicitated with Rs 11 lakh each and a memento. Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present on this occasion.
On this occasion, an exhibition has also been organised depicting the role of UP in the development of the country and the contribution of the great heroes of the state in the freedom struggle.
