Mock drill important step towards preparing UP for every situation: Yogi

Lucknow, Jan 23 (UNI) On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, being celebrated across the country as Parakram Diwas today, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a mock drill was organized by the Uttar Pradesh Civil Defence Organization to express respect and gratitude towards the great son of Mother India and the great hero of the freedom movement.
This splendid mock drill is an important step towards preparing the state for every kind of situation, said Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath during the blackout mock drill organized for rescue and awareness in emergency situations at the police lines this evening.
Yogi Aditynath said that the sentiment of ‘Nation First’ was given to the country by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose during the freedom movement. In line with that sentiment, he formed the Indian National Army for India's independence. To present the strength of India's women's power to the world, he formed the Rani Laxmibai Brigade and made the country aware of women's power at that time itself. Whether inside India or abroad, wherever Netaji stayed, the contribution he made for India's independence, every Indian is grateful for it and honours him as a national hero.
